It's all about the drag racing!
Team Robinson Racing
Jack Robinson, co-owner of Darkside Performance, has been racing and wrenching on drag bikes for over 20 years. Jack often says that he got into drag bike racing to "stay out of trouble", seeing the sport as a way to feed his need for adrenaline in a better way. Jack founded Team Robinson Racing out of a desire for him and his teammates to experience the camaraderie present in the race community. Jack is that guy at the race track who is going to lend you a tool, and if needed, will jump in and start wrenching alongside you. Jack is about the racing community and while his Hyabusa is his choice for drag bike racing, he is on board for street riding with his own Dyno Tuned Harley Davidson Street Glide CVO.
Today, Jack operates Darkside Performance Inc. concurrently with Team Robinson Racing. The business allows Jack, a retired Marine, an opportunity to share his craft and knowledge towards making any bike better. And racing...well that gets in your blood and it tends to stay there. Jack is stepping up to a Nitro Top Fuel bike in 2021 thanks to the support and encouragement of Nitro Syndicate's Tony Ruggiero. You can sometimes find Tony and his top fuel bike at the shop and advocating for new racers to join the sport.
